Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT)

A trust that invests primarily in real estate and mortgages and passes income, losses, and other tax items to its investors. The Fund is subject to many of the risks associated with direct real estate ownership, such as declines in real estate values, overbuilding and extended vacancies, limitation of fluctuations in rent payments and other risks associated with general and local economic conditions. Shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than the original amount invested.
